Prof. Katers interviews for Dean position MONDAY, campus encouraged to attend

Prof. John Katers (chair of Natural and Applied Sciences), will interview for the position of Dean of Science and Technology at UWGB Monday, Feb. 29. He will make a presentation to the campus community during an open forum from 3:15-4:15pm (Alumni AB, University Union). The campus community is encouraged to attend. The founding Dean of the College of Science and Technology is responsible for budget, personnel, curriculum, strategic planning and decisions, and for working with diverse constituencies to promote the University and these programs. The Dean will provide academic and administrative leadership and oversight of interdisciplinary and disciplinary programs in the College. The Dean of the College of Science and Technology will work in a collaborative fashion with the Deans of the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare; the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business; and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences on matters of mutual concerns. The Dean reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and serves on the Provost’s Administrative Council.
