Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive accepting donations through March 6

UW-Green Bay’s GPS First-Year-Seminar (Finding Home) is sponsoring a Help for the Homeless hygiene drive on campus now through March 6, 2021 as part of their spring service project. The GPS cohort is looking for donations that will be distributed to residents at the House of Hope (their community partner in this service project) and other shelters in Northeast Wisconsin. Donations can include cleaning supplies, baby care items, personal care items, hair care products, paper products, first aid supplies, and dental care items. This is a state-wide donation drive and more information on requested supplies can be found by following the attached link. Boxes are placed in three locations on campus: First floor Mary Ann Cofrin Hall, Garden Cafe, and UTIC/Phoenix Bookstore/Marketplace. The students in this GPS cohort would like to thank everyone across camps for taking the time to help, and ask if anyone is unable to donate, they simply spread the word so others on campus are aware of the opportunity.
