Drake is next for the men in black
Hats off to the Green Bay men’s basketball team who, wearing their road black jerseys, posted a pair of convincing Horizon League victories over the weekend. The Phoenix beat Cleveland State 66-59 on Friday night and Youngstown State 71-54 on Sunday afternoon to win three straight on the road for the first time in several years. The wins move Green Bay to 15-12 overall and 9-5 in the league, currently good for third place.Coach Brian Wardle’s team has a week to prepare for its Bracket Buster game at 7:05 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 23) in Des Moines, Iowa, vs. Drake, a Missouri Valley Conference team.
