Queen of hearts: Alumna sparks massive cards-for-vets drive

It’s a tug-your-heartstrings kind of story. UW-Green Bay alumna Nancy Young ‘08 started small a couple of years ago with a February drive to send Valentine’s cards to military veterans. This year, with support from her employer, Humana, and helping hands too numerous to count, the movement exploded to bring Valentine’s greetings to 6,800 vets across Wisconsin. Wonderful story.
