The UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus Lakeshore Wind Ensemble (LWE) will be performing “The Winds of March” on Saturday, Mar. 2, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Capitol Civic Centre in downtown Manitowoc. “The Winds of March” will highlight music of Great Britain, including Kenneth Alford’s “Army of the Nile March” and a classic band work by Haydn Wood based on folk music of the Isle of Mann, “Mannin Veen.” Maestro Arendt will return to conduct music commissioned by the band to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the LWE, “Home of the Great Spirit by Dan Mitchell.” Learn more.
