Dollars, scents and recycling: Fieck ’06 has job promoting ‘BioReturn’
Up in rotation on the main homepage today is the story of Amy Fieck, a 2006 UW-Green Bay grad who promotes the economic value and environmental credentials of her employer, Sanimax. Yes, that’s the bio recycling plant near the intersection of Highways 29 and 41, a plant that generates not only dollars but scents. Fieck’s job has an education component, informing citizens of the tons of agricultural and animal waste being recycled into useful by-products every day, rather than being dumped into landfills.
