Alumnus’ photos capture Phoenix game day, away from the action

We told you back in December that UW-Green Bay alumnus Mike Roemer captured AOL Sporting News photo-of-the-year honors for his awesome shot of an animated Donald Driver doing a post-touchdown Lambeau Leap. On Saturday (Feb. 2), Roemer brought his award-winning perspective to the Kress Events Center, capturing the Phoenix women’s basketball team’s commanding 99-53 victory over UIC. And while he took a few game pics, Roemer was more interested in documenting what was happening away from the action — with very cool results.
