Walker issues call for (older) students to apply for Regent appointment


Gov. Scott Walker announced this week that he is seeking applicants for a non-traditional student representative on the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents. The applicant must be an undergraduate student, who is at least 24 years old and represents the views of non-traditional students, such as those who are employed or who are parents. It’s a two-year term. The deadline for applications is Feb. 13. Application info can be found online.
