The votes are in and UW-Green Bay is officially a Campus Kitchens Project winner! Spearheaded by the Feeding the Hungry and Reducing Waste student organization, in conjunction with the Social Work program, the UW-Green Bay bid earned enough online votes for a $5,000 Campus Kitchens grant. The money will be used to facilitate a system that will take quality leftover UW-Green Bay food that would otherwise go to waste and distribute it to those who need it most in our community. We’ll bring you more on this great initiative as it unfolds. For now, thank you to everyone who voted, and congratulations to those involved! For more and more.
