Nice win for Phoenix women
The Green Bay women’s basketball team put together a big 24-9 run to close the half as it defeated Horizon League newcomer Oakland, 74-58, on Thursday evening at the Athletic Center O’rena. Led by a 16-point effort from freshman Mehryn Kraker, the Phoenix improved to 11-7 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
