Institute for Learning Partnership offers grants for educators

Educators in CESA districts 7 and 8 who want to carry out projects to improve the quality of teaching or learning are invited to apply for grants from The Institute for Learning Partnership at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Up to $35,000 will be awarded for 2009-2010. All teachers, administrators and other professionals affiliated with CESA districts 7 and 8 are eligible to apply. Proposals for projects of up to $7,500 will be accepted. Project proposals that explore effective approaches to closing the achievement gap will receive special consideration. The Institute expects to award 10 to 15 projects under $1,500; four to nine from $1,500 to $3,000; three to five from $3,000 to $5,000; and one to three from $5,000 to $7,500.
