The Green Bay men’s basketball team returned to its winning ways on Monday night, using a strong second half to knock off Cleveland State, 83-73, at the Resch Center and snap a two-game losing streak in Horizon League play. The Phoenix (12-8, 6-2 HL) shot 50 percent (27-for-54) from the field and 59.3 percent alone in the second half, earning the season sweep over the Vikings (6-15, 2-7 HL). The Phoenix makes a Detroit road swing this coming weekend, visiting Oakland at 8:05 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27 CT on ESPNU and Detroit Mercy at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. CT.
