We noted this in the print edition of the Inside UW-Green Bay magazine, but not yet in the LOG e-news, so here goes: In his inaugural address, Chancellor Thomas K. Harden shared personal stories of how a Midwest upbringing, close-knit family and blue-collar jobs enriched his life. (Good stuff on “slag notching” in the Middletown, Ohio steel mill; how liberal arts prepared him for life; and how his wife’s passion for her own career convinced him to be a teacher.)
