A bit of Ice Bowl history, here at UW-Green Bay
Sunday’s Packers playoff loss to the 49ers wasn’t as cold as advertised (the temperature stayed above zero), so the record for coldest NFL game remains intact. (Minus-13 for the Packers-Cowboys Ice Bowl on Dec. 31, 1967.) A fun bit of history: the Cofrin Library’s Area Research Center has the National Weather Service’s hand-written logs for December 1967.
