Claudia E. Guzman named UW-Green Bay Director of Student Life
Claudia E. Guzman has been named UW-Green Bay’s new director of Student Life and begins her new position on Feb. 5. Guzman comes to UW-Green Bay from UW-Milwaukee where she serves as the sociocultural program manager. In this role she oversaw a dramatic growth in programs and collaborations within the University and community. She has also worked in the private, nonprofit sector in Milwaukee. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and received her masters degree from Marquette University. “Claudia brings us a tremendous combination of skill and positive energy, and we are very fortunate to add her to the Phoenix family,” said Eric Arneson, vice chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Climate. “I also want to acknowledge and thank John Landrum and Grant Winslow and the Student Life team for their continuing excellent work. They have worked very hard to keep moving forward without a director this semester and did an outstanding job. The combination of this talented team with the addition of Claudia’s skills will make Student Life an even stronger resource and anchor for our students.”
