UW-Green Bay Financial Aid Director Ron Ronnenberg told WBAY his office is probably a month behind where it would normally be, because more families need financial assistance. The office is getting calls every day from parents who say their family’s financial situation is changing because of layoffs and the bad economy. “Our appeal rate now, three weeks into the semester, is still higher than I’ve ever seen before.
