GREEN BAY – It’s going to be a busy weekend in Green Bay.
Besides the Packers’ regular season home opener and all the festivities that go with that, the city is gearing up for early fall fun. And we’ve got you covered with a roundup of events throughout the weekend for the entire family.
Here is what’s happening across Green Bay on Friday through Saturday.
Estamos Aquí Festival Hispano
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with ¡Estamos Aquí! Festival Hispano. Admission is free and the outdoor festival is open to the public. Attendees can celebrate with live music, art and food.
The festival is from 3 to 10 p.m. on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s campus. More information can be found on Facebook on the festival’s event page.
Ongoing events
- Saturday Farmers Market: 7 a.m.-noon Saturday, South Washington and Doty streets, Green Bay.
- Immersive art sculpture outside The Weidner, 2420 Nicolet Drive, on the UW-Green Bay campus continues till Sept. 15. Evanescent, which celebrates the magic of bubbles, will light up in front of The Weidner and stand over 20 feet tall. The exhibit is free to the public.
- Live in the Garden: 2024 Badger State Brewing Outdoor Summer Concert Series: 5-10 p.m. Friday, 990 Tony Canadeo Run, Green Bay.
