Members of the UW-Green Bay and larger communities are getting a no-cost chance to learn the art of African dance and drumming this week, thanks to an on-campus workshop, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports. The evening instructional sessions began Monday and continue daily through Friday, in the Theatre Hall dance studio from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April Turner, a playwright, author, actor, director and dancer with Life As Art Productions in Charlotte, N.C., is leading the free sessions.
