Move-in begins for students at UW-Green Bay | NBC 26
GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — It’s a big day for students at UW-Green Bay as hundreds move out of their homes and onto the college campus. Approximately 2,000 students live on campus at UWGB, and many of those are freshman.
“It’s always fun to point them in the right direction and show them what it’s like to live on campus,” said Wesley Jones, a resident mentor.
While there were a lot of nerves for incoming freshmen, there was also a lot of excitement. One Stevens Point native couldn’t wait to get moving.
“Just meeting new people and all of the welcome activities they have set up. I think it’ll be a really fun and busy day,” said Adi Hopfensperger, an incoming freshman.
UW-Green Bay freshmen moved into the next step of their lives with help from their parents.
