Five hundred new UW-Green Bay students volunteered to clean up garbage at Bay Shore County Park in New Franken, Monday, Sept. 3. With approximately 77% of new students attending UW-Green Bay from outside of Brown County, the service project and Lambeau Field Celebration that followed, allowed the University to serve and showcase the region. In total, around 600 volunteers gathered at the park, with many of the students connecting with fellow classmates all while giving back to the community. WFRV-TV had coverage.
