Shorewood Park’s disc golf course opens at UWGB
GREEN BAY (WLUK) — University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus welcome a brand-new disc golf course.
Shorewood Park opened August 17th.
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay shut down the original golf course in 2021 because of the “drain” on resources.
The university created a cross-country course, used by middle school students to college teams.
It was redesigned by the nationally known disc golf designer and pro Cale Leiviska.
Funding is from the UW-Green Bay Student government association and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay foundations.
