In the news: UW-Green Bay joins Sierra list of ‘cool schools’

Fox 11 news on Wednesday (Aug. 15) ran a nice story about the Sierra Club’s recently released “Coolest School” list, which ranks UW-Oshkosh and UW-Green Bay among the most sustainable universities in the country. UW-O is at 14, while we come in at No. 65 — the only two Wisconsin schools to make the list. Our inclusion comes at a time when UW-Green Bay has been recognized for and continues to ramp up its efforts to “go green,” including through a Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) silver rating, and inclusion in The Princeton Review’s Guide to 322 Green Colleges: 2012 Edition.
