WFRV: On-campus housing in high demand

A record number of freshmen are expected to live on campus this fall, continuing a trend of high demand for housing at UW-Green Bay. WFRV, Channel 5, came to campus Wednesday (Aug. 3) to talk about the trend with Glenn Gray, director of our Office of Residence Life. Student housing is overbooked by about 30 students, Gray said, most of whom will be assigned temporary housing until space opens up (which happens as students transfer, etc. during the semester). Gray, along with student Rachel Tom, pointed to factors such as convenience and involvement in campus life to explain the popularity of living here.  Click here.
