Prof. John Luczaj on Kilauea eruption

UW-Green Bay Professor John Luczaj (Geoscience) is following the Kilauea volcano’s eruption closely. For Luczaj, Hawaii’s volcano eruption has a personal connection. He recalls the spots he visited in Hawaii when studying lava flow in 1993. “I also think back to where I was, and I put myself geographically in the same spot and the places where I visited that were just rainforests are now being covered by lava,” Luczaj says.
