UW-Green Bay Prof. Gurung says technoloy makes it easy to ‘bail’

UW-Green Bay Prof. Regan A. R. Gurung (Psychology and Human Development) says it’s better to stick to plans, though technology makes it easier to cancel them. Prof. Gurung explains in a story with Wisconsin Public Radio, that bailing is a growing culture in our society, and it does not look good in a professional environment, as he has observed colleagues and students bail on meetings and assignments during his 20-year teaching career. He also mentions the rising stress levels of Americans, which can be linked to canceling plans. Gurung shares his advice on relationships with chronic cancelers, and encourages us to reach out to make sure they’re okay.
