Magazine examines programs for unemployed professionals

The April edition of Insight magazine features a look at how colleges and universities are reaching out to unemployed professionals. UW-Green Bay Career Services Director Linda Peacock-Landrum told author MaryBeth Matzek that she has seen an increase in students who already hold a bachelor’s degree, but are looking at classes that will make them more marketable. Some want to prepare for the certified public accountant exam, while others are adding science classes so they can get into a health care program. Read more.
