Space Grant brought a team all the way from Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas for the first ever First Nations rocket competition this weekend. Their trip was big news in Kansas. The school has a for-credit course in rocket science, and their team planned to launch a 12-foot, 50-pound rocket nearly two miles into the air. Good story from their hometown media, read more.
