UW-Green Bay College Draft Day at Lambeau Field returns

“GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Following a two-year hiatus, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is hosting College Draft Day at Lambeau Field.

UWGB said in a press release that more than 100 local high school students had the opportunity to participate in the free event Friday.

College Draft Day is designed to increase awareness of higher education options among local first-generation and historically underrepresented students and provide a memorable experience through fast-paced, hands-on activities such as Jeopardy, bag toss and tabletop field goals at Lambeau Field.

Students had the opportunity to learn about applying for college and financial aid, as well as what it’s like to be a college student. Each participant will have the chance to connect one-on-one with an admissions counselor.”
