Green Bay Press Gazette’s Glimpse of the Past: Weidner Center of Performing Arts

The Green Bay Press-Gazette released an article that looked into past events in various years throughout April 12-18. “A Glimpse of the Past” April 17, 1987 included the Weidner Center, which was generating support for a performing arts center on the UW-Green Bay campus. Donations to build the Weidner Center included more than $4 million from Dr. David and Mary Ann Cofrin, an additional $5 million to complete the project from private contributions and a request for state matching funds, as reported by UWGB Chancellor David Outcalt.
