A New York Times mention of Rodrian and the cheerleaders
Yesterday we linked to an Orlando Sentinel column about the incongruity of having a Super Bowl in Texas, and especially Dallas, with no sideline dance teams. Well, an alert reader points out that the columnist based his piece on a Sunday New York Times article that referenced the Packers’ (actually, UW-Green Bay’s) cheerleaders. Team adviser Ann Rodrian is quoted, to good effect. She noted, among other things, that her team doesn’t get as much exposure as, say, the scantily clad Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. “They don’t usually show us because my girls have all their clothes on.” Nice article, at the NY Times website.
