MLK contest winners featured online, in ‘Press-Gazette’

We told you here recently about the 19th annual Community Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday, and UW-Green Bay’s co-sponsorship of, and participation in, the event (news.uwgb.edu/multimedia/photos/01/21/photos-mlk-community-celebration/) During the weekend, the Green Bay Press-Gazette featured some of this year’s winning K-12 poster and essay contest winners, and has posted all the winning MLK entries online for viewing. They’ll also be displayed, at a to-be-determined date, at the Brown County Central Library, 515 Pine St. Check out the paper’s gallery, featuring the inspiring words of students’ take on “A Vision for Peace,” the theme of the Jan. 18 celebration: click here.
