GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Officers from several local law enforcement agencies were among the first people to receive coronavirus vaccinations at Prevea Health’s clinic on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus. Prevea Health says it gave first doses to 100 people on Monday. That was the clinic’s first day of operation, and also the first day police and firefighters could be vaccinated under Wisconsin state guidelines.Included in the first group of people were officers from the Wisconsin State Patrol, Green Bay Police Dept., Hobart/Lawrence Police Dept., Brown County Sheriff’s Office and UW-Green Bay Police Dept. The clinic at the Kress Events Center will continue to operate as more people become eligible for vaccinations. Those 65 and older will become eligible next Monday, the state Department of Health Services has announced.
