COVID-19 in Wisconsin: Tony Evers praises Prevea vaccination clinic
GREEN BAY – Gov. Tony Evers and University of Wisconsin System President Tommy Thompson praised the work of Prevea Health at the opening of its COVID-19 vaccination clinic Monday on the UW-Green Bay campus. “What Prevea has put together is quite amazing in a very, very, very short period of time,” Evers said at a press conference outside the clinic, housed at the Kress Events Center.”It’s a thing of beauty,” Thompson said. “It takes tremendous cooperation, great leadership and sort of a vision for the future.”The clinic opened Monday for law enforcement and firefighter personnel, as well as those in Phase 1a of the vaccine rollout.
