Jeff Nordgaard, who led UW-Green Bay to three NCAA tournament appearances in the mid-1990s and was one of UW-Green Bay’s finest basketball players ever, will be inducted into the Phoenix Hall of Fame on Feb. 5. Athletics Director Ken Bothof told the Green Bay Press-Gazette the honor was delayed because Nordgaard enjoyed a long playing career in Europe following his graduation in 1996, and couldn’t easily return for February induction ceremonies. Now retired, Nordgaard resides in the Milwaukee area. Read the story.
