Cold, cranky car? Have no fear; Public Safety is here

It was UW-Green Bay Public Safety to the rescue earlier this week, when cold weather and dead batteries wreaked havoc on drivers here and across the area. WLUK, Fox 11 ran a story on car troubles in the frigid temps, coming to campus to spotlight Public Safety’s free jump-start service. Although it’s a quiet time on campus, officers had jumped about 30 cars in just two days when reporter (and UW-Green Bay alum) Ben Krumholz came to campus Tuesday (Jan. 7). Police Lt. Jeff Gross got a visitor’s car going during the report, sending a relieved student and her boyfriend on their way. Full story.
