Exotic endeavors: TV news profiles animal-rescuing alumna

Thanks to Associate Prof. Matt Dornbush for letting us know about a cool alumni story that was featured this fall on NBC 26. Log readers may remember a 2013 Green Bay Press-Gazette profile about 2011 grad Jamie Kozloski, founder and director of Kingdom Animalia Exotic Animal Rescue in Hobart. In November, Kozloski’s story — and some of her creepy critters — were featured on the NBC 26 “Wisconsin Tonight” news program. “A lot of people are creeped out about all this stuff,” Kozloski said. “But if they understand them and they know why they do what they do, then people fear them less — and then I’ve done my job.”
