Faculty note: Ortiz

Prof. Cristina Ortiz was an invited speaker at the 12th International Conference on representations of Exile in Literature and Cinema organized by the Universidad de Deusto (Spain). The topic of her presentation was “Ispansi: The Spanish refugees in Russia.” While in Spain, she was also invited to guest lecture in the Master of Euroculture program (ErasmusMundus) on issues of contemporary European identity and crisis. While there, she also had the opportunity to visit UW-Green Bay students studying at the Universidad de Deusto in Spain this semester.
