UW-Green Bay’s Gail Sims-Aubert wins Professional Enrichment Award

Gail Sims-Aubert, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, was awarded the UMR-ACUHO Robert E. Mosier Professional Enrichment Award on Wednesday, November 9th, at the annual conference in Fargo, ND.

Sims-Aubert’s achievements are a reflection of her commitment to enhancing the skills, knowledge, and motivation of fellow professionals. One nominator commented:

For many years Gail has recruited, trained and nurtured hundreds of talented staff during her career and has shaped many of our leaders in housing and student affairs. She is definitely a woman that leaves a positive and lasting impact on those who know her.

This award recognizes an individual in the Upper Midwest Region who has made outstanding contributions to the professional development of their colleagues in college student housing. The nominee should have established a record of involvement in professional enrichment opportunities on their own campus, within UMR-ACUHO, and within other professional organizations at the state, regional or national level. Gail has previously served in many leadership roles in UMR-ACUHO, including President of the organization in 2012.
