Faculty note: Hovarter

Becky Hovarter, lecturer in the Professional Program in Nursing, has been invited to join the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Content Expert Panel for the Advanced Public Health Nursing Specialty. The panel is made up of select nurse experts from across the country. Hovarter attended the first test development meeting August 19-21 in Silver Spring, Md., ANCC’s headquarters. The internationally known credentialing programs certify and recognize individual nurses in specialty practice areas; recognize healthcare organizations for promoting safe, positive work environments; and accredit continuing nursing education organizations.
