UW-Green Bay Prof. Dinesh Yadav chairs World Stage Design panel in Calgary, Canada

Dr. Dinesh Yadav, associate professor of theatre and technical director for Theatre and Dance, chaired a panel on ‘Coloring the Light: Decolonizing Lighting and Diversifying the Stage.’ This panel comprises lighting designer Georgios Koukoumas (Cyprus), Jesus Noyola (Mexico), Yi-Tai Chung (Taiwan), Clifton Taylor (USA), and Satyabrata Rout (India). These six designers from various spectrums of carriers presented their research, findings, and practices on lighting design beyond ‘standard’ colonial practices.
