Kaye: On Labor Day, look back to move forward

UW-Green Bay Professor of Democracy and Justice Studies and dedicated unionist Harvey Kaye dusts off a 2007 essay for re-posting to a national activist site during Labor Day Week. The column, headlined “This Labor Day, Let’s Think Back to Move Progressively Forward,” is published at the site Campaign for America’s Future. Kaye applauds what he says was President Franklin Roosevelt’s radicalism in advancing the interests of working Americans.
