UW-Green Bay Prof. Rebecca Meacham (English and Humanities) spent a week as the Writer-in-Residence at Write On, Door County, a Juddville, Wis. nonprofit dedicated to classes, events and community outreach for writers and readers in Northeast Wisconsin. In exchange for their residency, writers-in-residence conduct a course or other service in exchange; Meacham’s service entailed forging connections between Write On and the students, internship opportunities and resources at UW-Green Bay.
