Staff Note: UW-Green Bay’s Tori Grant Welhouse has published poetry book

Etchings Press recently announced the winners of the most recent chapbook and novella contest, and among them is a poetry book by UW-Green Bay Marketing and University Communication marketing manager Tori Grant Welhouse. Her book, Vaginas Need Air, is available for presale now and available more widely on July 15.

A description is available at the publisher’s site: “Welhouse’s poetry chapbook, Vaginas Need Air, explores and celebrates the love, rapport, and affinity found between mothers and daughters throughout the many stages of life. Her poems capture the relationship between the two in private moments with an impeccable sense of clarity and insight.”

“It (the title of the book), is something my mom always used to say,” said the author, who works closely with Continuing Education and Community Engagement.
