Faculty note: Bansal is president-elect for Midwest IS association

Gaurav Bansal, assistant professor of management information systems for the Cofrin School of Business, will serve as president-elect of the Midwest Association for Information Systems for the year 2013-14. The election took place at the annual MWAIS meeting in May in Normal, Ill. MWAIS holds as its mission advancing the work of information technology leaders and scholars from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Bansal chaired the seventh annual MWAIS conference held at UW-Green Bay in May  2012.
