Faculty note: Terry earns McCloy Fellowship
Prof. Patricia Terry, Natural and Applied Sciences, has been awarded a McCloy Fellowship in Environment Policy from the American Council on Germany. The award will allow her to travel to Germany for three weeks in January 2013 to collaborate with German colleagues in the wind energy sector to help overcome obstacles to further wind energy development in the United States. Germany is one of the highest per capita wind energy producers globally. The McCloy Fellowships were established to foster dialogue and collaboration between Germans and Americans working to achieve sound environmental policies and practices. Last fall, Terry also visited the Center for Environmental Systems Research at the University of Kassel in Kassel, Germany.
