UW-Green Bay’s Social Media Coordinator Jena Richter Landers ’13 (Communication) encourages people to consider what they post on social media — and what others post about them. Fox 11 interviewed Richter Landers on the impact of social media, especially in the professional world. She reminds us that everything we post about ourselves on social media can be shared with others with just one click and interpreted different than we assumed. “You have to consider not only what you’re posting publicly, but what other people are posting about you,” Richter Landers says.
