UW-Green Bay’s Prof. Gaurav Bansal at APWA

Associate Prof. Gaurav Bansal (Management Information Systems, Business Administration) of UW-Green Bay was invited to speak at the American Public Works Association’s Spring Conference at the KI Center on May 2 to 4, 2018. Bansal’s discussion topic was “Does Being Ethical Make Good Visual Sense?” Bansal addressed the gathering and talked about how accurate and true representation of data makes both teleological and deontological sense. He also discussed visualization theories from different disciplines and shared design principles for creating effective visualizations.
