Assistant Prof. Mandeep Singh Bakshi (Chemistry, NAS) recently published a “historical perspective” article in the high impact journal “Advances in Colloid and Interface Science.” This work highlights the characteristic features of different kinds of surface active molecules on the crystal growth control of the nanomaterials. A broad understanding of shape controlled growth by the surface active molecules can be applied towards the morphological controlled synthesis of bio-nanomaterials with versatile applications in biological systems as nanodevices for implants.
