Faculty note: Lowery publication

Vince Lowery, assistant professor of Humanistic Studies and History, presented a paper March 2 titled “The Hoosier Historian: Paul Leland Haworth and the Historical Consensus He Challenged” at the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Indiana Association of Historians, held at the University of Indianapolis. The paper is part of a larger essay that will appear in the collection The Dunning School: Historians, Race, and the Meaning of Reconstruction, co-edited by Lowery and University of North Carolina at Charlotte history professor John David Smith. The University Press of Kentucky will publish the collection in fall 2013.
