Prof. Michael Draney of Natural and Applied Sciences gave a talk titled “Bird-Arachnid Connections: Why birders should appreciate spiders and their kin” to about 75 members of the Stevens Point Audubon Society last Wednesday (Feb. 18). Closer to home, the talk will be given at the Algoma Bird City Celebration on April 11, and at the Green Bay Audubon Society annual banquet April 23.
